Indoor play in Kolkata
A practical checklist for parents comparing play arenas — and how Zookadoo at Shapoorji is built for calm, hygienic visits.
What “good” play looks like
For kids ages 2–12, the best indoor play is not the loudest playground. It is a floor with soft landings, age-right zones, visible cleaning habits, and seating where you can watch without hovering. In Kolkata’s humid climate, hygiene routines and sock policies matter as much as the equipment list.
Zookadoo is a dedicated play arena in Shapoorji C Block Gate, Action Area III, Newtown, Kolkata, for kids ages 2–12. You reserve a slot online and pay at reception (cash or UPI) when the visit is confirmed.
Visit Zookadoo in Newtown
Zookadoo sits at Shapoorji C Block Gate, Action Area III, Newtown, Kolkata, West Bengal 700135, India — landmark Beside Kidzee (Shapoorji C Gate), in Action Area III / Shapoorji, convenient for families across Newtown, Rajarhat, and nearby Kolkata neighbourhoods. Hours: Mon: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Tue–Fri: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Sat–Sun: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Call +91 86976 07977 or open directions in Google Maps.
In Kolkata’s humid months, sock policies and pad cleaning matter as much as the slide list. Dedicated play (not a mall add-on) means clearer age zones, parent seating with sightlines, and online slot booking with cash/UPI at reception.
Play vs loud zones
